Designed as a hybrid structural system of masonry and lightweight steel structures, this compact single family dwelling is proposed within a small plot having an area of 4.5 cents.

The footprint of the house is restricted to a 14 feet wide single ‘bay’ that is bent in the middle, with two private open courtyards on either side of the building, featuring tropical landscaping.

This 2 bedroom house consists of a guest bedroom and open living pavilion on the ground level which extends to the open courtyards and can be used as a party/ leisure space when required.

The upper floor is designed as an independent one bedroom apartment with expansive views of the surroundings, but at the same time ensuring natural climate control.
